Elmo

Elmo is a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart of gold and a spirit of resilience. He came to us after a difficult experience, but thankfully, his injury is no longer a concern, and he's expected to live a long, happy life. Elmo is a joyful dog who loves his people and canine friends, and he has a special appreciation for a comfy dog bed where he can truly relax. He's shown mild interest in cats, so a dog-savvy feline friend might be just fine!

Ideal Home

Elmo would do best in a home that understands he doesn't need to be an extreme athlete. While he enjoys his walks, he should skip the high-impact activities for now. He would thrive with kids over 10 or sturdy children who can understand his medical history and treat him with gentle care.

Ongoing Health

Elmo has a bullet lodged near his spine, which has become encapsulated. Specialists have advised that removing it would be riskier than leaving it as is. This condition does not affect his health or comfort, and he is expected to live a full life.

Training & Support

Elmo is a young dog who will grow into a large adult. He is still learning and will benefit from continued guidance and positive reinforcement.
