Riley Sweets

Riley is a puppy with a huge personality and an expressive way of interacting with the world. He notices everything happening around him and likes to make sure everyone else notices too. He's very engaged with his environment, aware of the other dogs around him, and incredibly entertaining to watch because he always seems to have an opinion about what's going on. Riley is playful, affectionate, and full of life, but he also has a thoughtful side. He pays attention to the energy around him and likes to involve himself when other dogs are playing, running around, or getting too rowdy. His naturally alert and observant personality suggests he'll grow into a dog who enjoys being very involved in the day-to-day rhythm of his home. He enjoys affection and settles nicely once he feels safe and comfortable. Underneath his playful puppy antics is a dog who really wants companionship and reassurance. He is still learning about the world, and continued training and structure will help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. He is smart, curious, funny, and full of personality, and for the right family, he is going to be an incredibly rewarding companion.

Ideal Home

Riley would do best with a family that appreciates an interactive dog – one that communicates, engages, and wants to feel included in everything. He is not the type of puppy who will simply entertain himself in the corner all day. He likes connection, activity, and involvement. A home that can provide patience, consistency, and plenty of enrichment would be wonderful for Riley.

Ongoing Health

All vetting is included in the adoption fee, which covers DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Continued training and structure will help Riley grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Our trainers on staff provide extensive behavioral testing and information to ensure the perfect fit for your family, and individualized behavior plans are created to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
