Storm

Meet Storm! This 8-year-old honorary Doberman, with his Weimaraner build, has been patiently waiting for his perfect match for six long years. Storm came to us as a surrender because his previous families couldn't keep up with his boundless energy. He's a sweet boy who absolutely adores people and would love nothing more than to cuddle with you on the couch or bed. Storm has enjoyed the company of children of all ages, from newborns to thirteen-year-olds, and has never had any issues with them. He also has a blast playing fetch and even knows a few basic commands.

Ideal Home

Storm needs a very special home that can cater to his needs. He requires a securely fenced backyard, at least 6 feet high, as he's quite the jumper! Due to his high prey drive and inability to get along with other dogs, Storm must be the only pet in the household. He also isn't a fan of loud noises like storms or fireworks.

Ongoing Health

All animals adopted through Wags are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing, and deworming.

Training & Support

Storm does pull on the leash, but using the "sit" command to pause him can help. He's a strong dog, so children should not take him for walks alone.

Transporation

Storm is currently in a foster home located in CO and WY. We do not have a central location, and all meet-and-greets are by appointment only in a neutral location to protect our fosters' privacy.
