Meet Angus: Your Future Gentle (and Slightly Chaotic) Giant!

Angus is a 6-month-old, 60+ lb Bullmastiff mix who is as goofy as he is lovable. He was found wandering near a creek and was brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. Now fully vetted and ready for his forever home, Angus is looking for an active family to share his life with. He's a big boy with a lot of growing to do, but he's already a sweet toddler in a giant body. He enjoys exploring the world with his mouth, so expect some playful chewing as he learns. He's eager to play with other dogs, but still needs to learn his own strength.

Ideal Home

Angus would do best in an active household with older children. He is too energetic for feline friends. A well-fenced yard is a must for this energetic pup!

Ongoing Health

Angus is healthy, happy, and ready to go home! He has been neutered, is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines (including Rabies and Bordetella), is heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is current on flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite preventatives.

Training & Support

Angus is currently working on his leash manners, as he sometimes views the leash as a chew toy. He is doggie-door trained but may need some patience to be fully housebroken in a new environment. He loves car rides but needs to be properly restrained to prevent him from being a "co-pilot disruptor"!
