SCOTT

Scott is an undeniably adorable 2-month-old puppy who came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He is puppy-curious, gets along wonderfully with his sibling Jones, and is looking for a forever home.

Ideal Home

Scott did great with the children in his previous home. He has not been around other dogs or cats, so meet-and-greets with resident dogs and children are recommended before adoption. His behavior with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Scott is a neutered male weighing 13.10 pounds. He is microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption.

Training & Support

Scott is almost fully housebroken but is not crate trained. Give him time to decompress and settle in as he adjusts to his new home.

Application Details

• Adoption fee: $40 through the end of September 26, 2026.
• Please bring a collar and leash, or purchase a collar-and-leash combo for $15.
• A forever commitment and ongoing veterinary care are expected.
• Visit Iredell County Animal Services at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC. Adoption hours are Monday–Friday, 12–5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Transportation

Adopters should bring a collar and leash or purchase a combo at the shelter to safely take Scott home.
