Meet Flacko, an 8-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix who weighs around 40lbs and is already neutered! This handsome boy is a certified good boy who absolutely loves people and is eager to make friends with other dogs. He even tried to befriend the foster cat, though his enthusiasm might be a bit much for some kitties. Flacko is a quick learner and his greatest desire is to please his forever person.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in an experienced home that can help him navigate the world with confidence. He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and is great at reading their cues and respecting boundaries, earning an A++ from Doggie Daycare playgroups. He's also been wonderful with his foster's 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy a human sibling to play with. However, because he's still working on his puppy manners like jumping and leash pulling, he would need supervision around smaller children.

Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available one once approved.
