Haida

Meet Haida, a feisty, fun-loving, and playful pup! She loves tussling with the other dogs in her foster home, playfully arguing over chew toys, and snuggling on the sofa. Walks are "Awesome!" in her book.

Haida was born with a damaged left front paw. The leg is quite short and resembles a T-Rex front leg, but all three of her other legs are perfectly fine and this condition does not slow her down one bit! In fact, she's mastered the art of getting belly scratches (or avoiding something she doesn't want to do) by simply dipping that paw down and rolling over. She knows she deserves all the belly rubs and is expertly positioned to receive them! She's currently up for walks of about an eighth of a mile and is working on increasing that distance, which means even more sniffing opportunities for this curious girl!
