Meet Idgie, a beautiful 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix weighing about 62 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully up to date on all her care. Idgie has a quiet presence that draws you in with her striking looks and soulful eyes. She's smart, a little serious at first, and incredibly loving once she feels secure. Idgie will make an amazing forever friend – she's loyal, affectionate, and ready to form a deep bond with her new family.

Ideal Home

Idgie would thrive in a home with a yard that has at least 6-foot fencing, as she can be a bit of an escape artist. She enjoys having a canine companion and gets along wonderfully with other dogs her size. Idgie is also cat friendly and has been around children of various ages, always remaining calm and gentle, making her a great fit for a family environment.

Training & Support

Idgie is fully housebroken and crate trained, sleeping peacefully without a peep. She has shown some resource guarding around her meals, so she is fed separately from other pets. This is only around her food bowl; she has no issues with treats, toys, or bones. With simple management at mealtime, she continues to thrive. While she enjoys playtime, she also loves long naps and cuddling.
