Diggie Doodlebug Hoverfluff

Diggie Doodlebug is an 11 lb bundle of scruffy grey fluff with a perfect button nose and tiny paws, resembling a miniature Chewbacca. Estimated to be around 4 years old, this Shih Tzu mix is a sensitive soul who forms deep attachments to his people. He's playful, lovable, and full of personality once he feels comfortable. Diggie adores toys, enjoys digging through dog beds with dramatic flair, and has a special fondness for children. He has also successfully lived with cats and can do well with calm, easygoing dogs after slow introductions. While initially shy in new environments, he remains incredibly soft-tempered. Once he trusts you, he can handle a busy lifestyle and enjoys accompanying his person on outings.

Ideal Home

A home with children would be ideal for Diggie. A secure yard is recommended as he is still working on leash confidence.

Ongoing Health

Diggie is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Diggie is not currently leash trained and finds crates stressful. He is trustworthy in the home when not crated.

Diggie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via a USDA-certified transport system with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
