A little about them
Waffles is a bluetick mix puppy whose mother weighs about 45 pounds and whose pittie/lab father weighs about 50 pounds. Puppies are matched with approved adopters based on personality and behavioral evaluations, with name and gender preferences welcomed.
Ideal Home
Applicants should be home during the day to help begin crate training, housebreaking, leash walking, and socialization. Continued crate training and socialization are expected, and puppy training classes are strongly encouraged.
Ongoing Health
The puppies will receive two vaccines before going home. Adopters are responsible for the third booster and rabies vaccine, and must send proof of that veterinary visit and heartworm prevention. Spay and neuter appointments will be scheduled by CCRT.
Training & Support
A partnered trainer will conduct behavioral evaluations at eight weeks to help determine the best placement for each puppy. A one-week adoption trial is offered. Puppies go home under a puppy care contract, and the official adoption contract, veterinary records, and microchip information are provided after the spay or neuter appointment.
