Alba is a roughly 1-year-old, 30 lb female Labrador Creole mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! Rescued in March 2024, Alba was found with her siblings in a field, and now she's looking for her forever home. She's a highly intelligent and obedient girl who absolutely adores playtime, walks, and good company. While she can be a little shy when first meeting new people, a few gentle pets and she'll melt right into your arms. Alba is also dog and cat friendly, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. She's joyful, funny, affectionate, docile, and incredibly loyal, always ready to bring a smile to your face. Alba is already crate and leash trained!
Ideal Home
Alba would thrive in a home with active families who enjoy outdoor activities. Ideally, this would be with homeowners who have a fenced backyard. She needs a family with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, understanding their journey and providing the protection and education they deserve. Experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, as is a high tolerance and patience for rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Alba has completed a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and a health certificate. She is currently on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. Her vaccination booklet is up to date.
Training & Support
Alba is crate and leash trained. However, it's important to note that rescued animals may not be fully house-trained, and Alba is no exception. She will require continued patience and guidance in this area.

Transporation
Alba is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to your home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee.
