Sadie is a lovely 3-year-old Terrier/Border Collie mix who is patiently waiting for a family to call her own. She recently spent two weeks in a foster home and proved to be the epitome of a "low-maintenance" companion. Sadie is remarkably calm, has zero accidents, and knows how to entertain herself while her humans are busy. She's not a constant shadow but prefers to be nearby, observing and offering a sense of quiet companionship. Sadie is an excellent alert dog for her family, observant and naturally aware of her surroundings.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm and independent dog. She would do best with children ages 5 and up who understand and respect her need for personal space. Sadie enjoys the company of other dogs, particularly males, and while social, she likes to be the "boss" of the pack at times.
Ongoing Health
Sadie is heartworm positive. She has been spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, and is on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. A health certificate, exam, and fecal test will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Sadie is a food-motivated dog, which makes training a breeze! She is already a "crate queen," happily settling in for the night without any fuss. She's also a "leash pro" and walks beautifully without pulling.
