All the world's a stage, and Iago is here to steal the scene-preferably with treats. This small breed, fully grown adult dog is only 13lbs but mighty, arriving ready to dazzle the audience (and his new family) with his quick wit and irresistible charm. While his Shakespearean namesake was known for mischief, our Iago uses his cleverness only for good... mostly.
Iago is a pint-sized scene-stealer who thrives on attention, playtime, and the occasional dramatic entrance. Whether he's trotting proudly into the room or curling up in your lap after a standing ovation of belly rubs, he's happiest when he's part of the action. And in our little Shakespearean troupe, he's the charismatic trickster who keeps everyone laughing. If you're looking for a spirited sidekick with heart, humor, and a dash of drama, Iago is ready for his curtain call.
Ideal Home
Iago can be a bit reserved with new people, so we recommend him for an adult-only household. He warms up quickly once he earns your trust, and then you will have a new best friend for a lifetime. He seems to be selective about which dogs he loves; some he's enjoyed being around and some haven't been his style. He would do well as an only dog or with a well-matched friend who he meets at the shelter.
Ongoing Health
Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.
Training & Support
Iago is a clever boy who thrives on attention and will warm up quickly once he trusts you, becoming a lifetime bestie. He can be selective with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is recommended if you have another canine companion.
