About Peter Pan

Meet Peter Pan!

Peter Pan is a goofy, lovable guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He has quickly become known for his adorable toothy grin, his permanently floppy ear, and his enthusiasm for just about everything life has to offer. Peter absolutely loves other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with canine companions who enjoy a little horseplay. He is incredibly gentle with smaller dogs and puppies; his foster sister, Rey, happily shares bully sticks, treats, toys, and cuddle space. He truly enjoys being part of a pack. One of Peter's favorite things in the world is playtime. Toys? Yes. Fetch? Sure. Tug? Absolutely. If there's an opportunity to play, Peter is ready. He also loves walks and would happily accompany you on adventures all day long. He regularly goes potty on walks and strongly prefers doing his business outside. He's still learning the best way to let his people know when he needs to go out, but he has made tremendous progress and continues to improve every day. Peter is very smart and learns quickly. He picks up routines and new skills with impressive speed and is eager to engage with his people. When he's not playing or exploring, he's a sweet cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and affection. At bedtime, he's happy to sleep on the floor nearby or curl up in bed with you. Peter does have a big bark and an impressive howl, but he uses his voice purposefully. Most often, he'll let you know when he needs to go outside or when he's feeling frustrated about being left behind. Cats are still a work in progress. Peter is very curious about them and can become excited or bothered by their presence. It doesn't appear to come from aggression as much as genuine confusion, it's almost as if he's asking, "Who are you, and why are you here?" He's learning to respect them and has already made progress, but a cat-free home would likely be the easiest fit. Because of his size, energy level, and enthusiasm for play, Peter would likely do best in a home without young children. He would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and having a loyal companion by their side. If you're looking for a sweet, goofy, intelligent dog who will make you laugh every day and love you with his whole heart, Peter Pan might just be your perfect match.
