Meet Gina!

Gina is a sweet and playful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who weighs about 56lbs. She had a tough start in life, being found abandoned as a tiny puppy near a busy road. Thankfully, she's now in a loving foster home and ready to find her forever family! Gina is a toy enthusiast, loves to collect them, and enjoys playing fetch. She also thrives on human attention and would do well in an active home.

Ideal Home

Gina would do best in an active home with a family that understands how to raise a large, energetic puppy. She would be a great companion for older children (10 and up) who are dog-savvy, as she can be jumpy when excited. A home with another dog is recommended to keep her company and help her burn off energy, and she enjoys playing with both small and large dogs. She should be in a cat-free home as she gets a bit too excited by neighborhood kitties.

Ongoing Health

Gina is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Gina is house and crate trained and can stay crated for up to 8 hours. She walks well on a leash and does not show signs of separation anxiety. She is currently in the "puppy velociraptor" stage and will need guidance on appropriate chewing items. Positive reinforcement training and regular socialization will be key to her continued development.

Transporation

Gina is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks.
