Sometimes the smallest dogs carry the biggest stories. Meet Sister, a precious 7lb Chihuahua who is looking for a soft place to land after a very long road. Sister arrived at the Tahoka, TX shelter in rough shape alongside her best friend, Polly. She was struggling with painful flea dermatitis, was far too thin, and her teeth had seen much better days. But at Saving Grace Rescue LBK, we believe every "vintage" lady deserves a makeover. We started Sister off with a full dental and comprehensive bloodwork, and we have great news: this girl is officially a healthy, happy lady! Now that shes feeling her best, her true personality is shining through. Sister is the definition of "sweet." She thrives on gentle pets and quiet affection, and is wonderful with other pups and very social. Sister is a resilient little soul who has put her "ruff" start behind her. She is more than ready for a life of luxury, warm blankets, and constant companionship. A Special Request: While Sister would love a home of her own, her heart belongs to her companion, Polly.
