Lola is approximately 3 years old and weighs about 47 lbs. While her exact breed is a mystery (typical for rescues!), she has the look and energy of a kelpie or cattle dog mix. She's currently thriving in a foster home with a 12-year-old boy and even shares her space comfortably with a cat. Her foster parents describe her as an exceptionally well-behaved house dog who requires no constant supervision.

Ideal Home

Lola thrives in a calm, steady environment where she can be a part of the family's rhythm. She's happy to be included in activities like walks or trips to the dog park, but she's equally content to relax nearby when it's time to unwind. She doesn't need constant entertainment and is a pro at settling down when things get quiet. Lola is affectionate without being overly demanding, the kind of dog who quietly rests near you while you go about your day, offering a gentle presence without any fuss. When interacting with other dogs, Lola prefers peaceful coexistence over boisterous play. She's comfortable sharing space, especially with calm dogs who respect boundaries. Ongoing Health

All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, has been completed. She has also been tested for heartworm.

Transportation

Lola is currently in a foster home in the Greater Houston area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
