Nakita

Nakita is a beautiful Shiba Inu mix, born around October 19, 2018, and weighing approximately 35 pounds. This sweet girl is a survivor of a puppy mill and is now ready to leave her past behind and find a loving forever home. She's curious, a little shy, but eager for attention and affection. Nakita gets along well with other dogs her size and is slowly learning what it's like to be a cherished pet.

Ideal Home

Nakita would thrive in a patient and understanding home. A securely fenced yard is a must for her safety and to help her adjust. She would also do best with another dog in the home to help her gain confidence.

Ongoing Health

Nakita has no known ongoing health conditions. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

As a former puppy mill survivor, Nakita will need guidance and patience with housetraining and leash walking, as she has not experienced living in a home before. She may be a bit skittish initially and will need time to learn to trust and feel comfortable. Celebrating every small step forward will be key to her success.

Transporation

Nakita is located in Mukwonago, WI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet and adopt her. We primarily adopt within WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI. We do not ship our pets.
