Charlie

Charlie, a 2-year-old, 60 lb beauty, was born in rescue, alongside her siblings. They were lovingly raised by an incredible foster until they were old enough to find forever families. Charlie’s story seemed like a dream come true—she and one of her sisters were adopted together by a wonderful, caring family. But sadly, after two years together, Charlie and her sister have developed signs of sibling syndrome—a heartbreaking and unpredictable behavioral challenge that can sometimes occur when littermates grow up in the same home. Their family has tried everything, but for the safety and well-being of both girls, they’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome Charlie. This decision was not made lightly. They love her deeply—but now, Charlie needs a new beginning. Charlie is a sweet, gentle girl who didn’t do anything wrong. She’s just in need of a new place to feel safe and loved. Let’s give Charlie the second chance she so deserves. She’s a great dog—you won’t be disappointed.

Ideal Home

Charlie is wonderful with all people, including young children. She does well with other dogs, but would prefer a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has food allergies and requires Apoquel shots and a special diet, but is otherwise perfectly healthy.

Training & Support

Charlie is housebroken and crate trained, and does well on leash. She is shy at first, but a total love once she knows you. She loves her bones and toys—they bring her so much comfort and joy.
