Scout

Meet Scout! This happy, playful 2-year-old boy weighs about 60 lbs and truly loves life and everyone in it. Scout is a big fan of his toys and gets especially excited when treats are involved – he takes them gently and politely, as snacks are a favorite! He walks well on a leash, though he might pull a little when first excited, he quickly settles in and enjoys the stroll. Scout gets along well with other dogs but is not a fan of cats. He also loves going on car rides! Scout knows how to sit on command and his greatest desire is to be close to his people, soaking up all the love. When meeting new people, his enthusiasm sometimes leads him to put his mouth on hands or arms, but rest assured, he does not bite. This is simply his affectionate and enthusiastic way of saying "I'm so glad to see you!" With a little structure and a lot of love, Scout will make a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a sweet, playful dog who's eager to please and ready to love you with his whole heart, Scout is ready to meet you.
