Ellie, a 16-year-old German Shepherd mix, is a graceful and affectionate girl who takes a little time to warm up but becomes deeply loving once she trusts you. They enjoy sharing beds, meals, and cozy afternoons after outdoor adventures. Both Eevee and Ellie are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are compatible with gentle children and would thrive in a home that offers patience, structure, and togetherness.
Ideal Home
Eevee and Ellie would do best in a peaceful environment without raised voices. Eevee can be protective of Ellie and may bark at large, energetic dogs that approach too quickly, so a home that can manage this with gentle reassurance would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Eevee has a collapsed trachea and sensitive skin that requires mindful care. She also benefits from dental chews and monitoring for possible extractions. Ellie's eyes are growing cloudy with age, and she may experience some hearing decline. She has a benign lump that is monitored by her veterinarian.
Training & Support
Eevee knows several commands, including sit, turn around, up, and down, and she comes when called. Both girls thrive with positive reinforcement and gentle guidance.
