If you need a strong, affectionate, goofy guy in your life... Zeus is your man. He was found living on the streets of Puerto Vallarta and came into care with a serious infection, but after treatment and great vetting, he is healthy, healed, and ready for a home. Zeus is handsome, playful, and smart, and he loves toys, fetch, and playing. He knows "sit" and "shake" and is doing well on the leash with staff. Zeus clearly had an owner once; he is social, eager to learn, and full of love. He just needs someone who can match his energy and give him the attention he deserves. If you are looking for a loyal adventure buddy, Zeus is waiting.
Ideal Home
Zeus would thrive with a fenced yard and an active, confident owner. He would do best in a home without small children, as he is powerful and can jump. He also gets along with some dogs, especially playful females.

Transporation
Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, it may be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. Volunteers have successfully brought dogs to adopters at the border during the summer months, providing a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
