MYSTRO

MYSTRO is an energetic and adventurous young male Australian Shepherd who was originally thought to be a Bernese Mountain Dog. As he grew, his herding instincts and high energy levels became apparent, leading his previous family to discover his true breed through DNA testing. While they loved him, his energy was a bit too much for their young children who have special needs and use wheelchairs. Thankfully, instead of returning him to a shelter where he might have faced euthanasia, they sought out a rescue to give MYSTRO a second chance at finding the perfect home. He absolutely loves the water and playing with hoses, making him a fantastic companion for an active adult family ready for fun and adventure.

Ideal Home

MYSTRO would thrive in an active adult-only home where his need for exercise and mental stimulation can be met. He needs a family that can keep up with his adventurous spirit and provide him with plenty of opportunities to play and explore.

Ongoing Health

MYSTRO is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and has been vaccinated for rabies.
