Gifford is a distinguished gentleman seeking a peaceful retirement! This 6-year-old former detection dog from Poland has served with dedication, ensuring safety at borders and airports. His career was cut short due to joint issues, and now he's looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. Gifford is a bit thin and shows some signs of his past, including a partial tail, but he has an abundance of life and spirit left to share. He is incredibly devoted and will watch your every move, eager to please. While he may experience occasional anxiety, he is currently on medication to help him feel his best.

Ideal Home

Gifford would thrive in a home with a yard where he can enjoy a couple of strolls a day. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats, as he can be a bit too interested in them.

Gifford is on medication for anxiety. He has some joint issues that led to his early retirement and he is missing part of his tail.
