Meet "Madi," a brave and beautiful dog who is searching for her forever family! Last year, Madi faced a significant challenge with a leg injury and underwent an amputation. She's truly a trooper, adapting wonderfully as a tripod and showing that it doesn't slow her down one bit! Madi delights in car rides and loves to explore on walks. She's also quite content to entertain herself with her toys before snuggling up for a nap on a comfy bed or a warm lap.

Ideal Home

Madi would thrive in a calm home environment. She needs a patient and understanding family to help her continue building her confidence. New experiences and unfamiliar situations can make her feel nervous, and she can sometimes be reactive when seeing people through barriers like windows or gates. To ensure Madi feels safe and secure, a home without young children is preferred. Because she is uneasy around other animals, she would do best as the only pet in the home. Madi is not a fan of cats and requires a cat-free household.

Ongoing Health

Madi is a resilient dog who has recovered from a leg amputation. She has adapted beautifully to life as a tripod. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Madi is house-trained. She would benefit from a family who can help her continue to build confidence in new environments and manage her reactions to people she sees through barriers.
