Valentine aka Little Val

Meet Valentine, also known as Little Val! 💕 This sweet and loyal companion is looking for a special home where she can undergo and recover from heartworm treatment, which will be fully sponsored by Wags. Once her treatment is complete, her adoption will be finalized.

Little Val's greatest joy is being by her people's side. Whether it's snuggling on the couch, following you from room to room, or even enjoying the warm steam in the bathroom while you shower, she cherishes closeness. She's incredibly people-oriented and her happiest moments are spent with her humans.

Ideal Home

Little Val would thrive in a calm and peaceful environment. She gets along well with other calm, passive dogs and prefers companions who are not rough or pushy.

Ongoing Health

Valentine is currently heartworm positive and will need a committed home to support her through treatment and recovery. The rescue is sponsoring all her heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Little Val has wonderful house manners and is excellent at pottying outside. She's also very gentle when taking treats. While she's starting to show more of her playful side as she feels better, she still enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and would much rather cuddle than engage in strenuous activity. She has a quiet demeanor and has not been observed to bark, look for escape routes, or be a heavy drooler or snorer.
