Layla is a stunning 5-year-old pup with a gorgeous, light brown coat, big, upright ears that practically demand ear scratches, and a heart full of love, just waiting for the right family. We think she might be a Shepherd-Pitty mix, but one thing is certain: she's one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. Layla is a little shy at first and takes her time warming up to new people. But when she trusts someone, her tail wags, her eyes sparkle, and she showers that person with quiet, devoted affection. Her foster has proven that with a little patience and love, Layla will absolutely learn to trust and adore her humans. She's a gentle soul who will curl up next to you, soak up pets, and quietly remind you that love does not always need words.
Ideal Home
Layla would thrive in a home where she can decompress, feel safe, and let her personality shine at her own pace. She would do best with older children around 8 and up due to her sensitivity to new people and touch. She absolutely needs a dog friend to share her life with, as her happiness depends on having a fellow pup to lean on. A calm, aloof male dog would be ideal. She is cat-tolerant, giving kitties their polite bubble of space.

Transporation
Layla is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
