Neela

Hi! My name is Neela and I’m about 5 months old. I have short black and white fur, and they think I’ll grow into a medium to large size, although right now I weigh about 9 kg.

Someone threw me into the home of a man who already had many dogs, around 50 of them. People have been helping by getting the dogs there spayed and neutered so the situation doesn’t become even more difficult. Thankfully, the pack didn’t attack me.

When a volunteer took me to be spayed, she realized I was an extremely sociable and affectionate puppy, especially compared to the rest of the dogs there, so she decided to take me in. Through the adoption program, I completed my medical care with deworming, vaccinations, and a 4DX test to make sure I didn’t have diseases transmitted by ticks or mosquitoes.

I’m a very gentle girl with humans and very playful with other dogs. In fact, I’m helping Pepper, another rescued dog from the same place, learn to trust people a little more. Little by little, I’m also being introduced to cats, although it’s still too soon to know if I’m fully cat friendly.

I love to run and play around. Whenever it’s time for treats or food, which I absolutely love, I always sit politely and wait. I think somehow I know life gave me a second big chance, and I don’t want to waste it.
