Bugs - Courtesy Listing

Hi, I'm Bugs! I'm a 7 1/2-year-old, 75 lb Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who's ready to find my forever couch! I'm a big fan of naps and am a true couch potato, but I also enjoy leisurely walks where I can take my time sniffing everything. My family is moving overseas and sadly can't take me with them, so I'm looking for a new family to shower with love.

Ideal Home

I do well with kids and would prefer to live with female dogs. I can get a little jealous of male dogs if they're getting more attention than me, and I also like my meals separated from other dogs to avoid any potential squabbles. My current mom is a nurse and I'm used to being left alone for long periods, so I'm a great companion for someone with a busy schedule.

Ongoing Health

I'm fully vetted, up-to-date on my vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained and haven't had any accidents when left alone. While I'm generally good with other dogs, I am an alpha dog and occasionally don't vibe with certain canine personalities. I'd do best with a slow introduction to any new dog friends. I've never been around cats, so it's a bit of a mystery how we'd get along.
