Chloe

Meet Chloe, a sweet 8-year-old who is searching for a very special adopter! Patience, empathy, love, and treats are the keys to winning her trust and unlocking her heart. Chloe can be anxious in new environments and takes time to warm up to new people, but when she finally trusts you, it's the most rewarding feeling in the world!

Once comfortable, Chloe absolutely loves belly rubs, jumps into your lap seeking affection, and is playfully energetic with a non-stop wagging tail. She's also a champion snuggler, happy to curl up on your lap during movie night. Chloe is crate-trained, house-trained, and rarely barks. She knows some commands and is comfortable using a potty pad if you need to be away for extended periods. She walks beautifully on a leash and would make an excellent exercise companion for someone looking to increase their daily steps.

Ideal Home

Chloe needs a home with no children and no other pets. She is distrustful of humans and wary of other animals at first, so her new family must have patience and avoid rushing or forcing interactions. Introductions to new things should be done in a slow, controlled manner. Chloe requires a smoke-free home with a securely fenced yard. She must reside within 75 miles of midtown Savannah, Georgia.

Ongoing Health

To our knowledge, Chloe has not bitten anyone, but we feel she could be a bite risk in stressful situations where she feels threatened or afraid. We recommend using a muzzle when taking her to the vet or groomer.

Training & Support

Chloe needs a patient adopter who understands her need for a slow introduction to new people and environments. We recommend using a muzzle for vet and groomer visits to ensure her comfort and safety.
