Meet Hugo! This striking, solid black Labrador is a 3-year-old, 65-pound bundle of energy who absolutely adores water. Whether it's a puddle, pond, or lake, Hugo will find it and make a splash! He's a highly active and athletic boy who thrives when he has a job to do or training to focus on. Hugo was sadly abandoned at just one year old, labeled "too crazy" when he was simply a young, energetic puppy. Now, he's more mature and eager to learn how to be a well-mannered house dog with the right guidance and stability. With patience, plenty of exercise, and lots of water fun, Hugo is sure to become an incredibly loyal, joyful, and adventurous companion. He's ready for his second chance and a lifetime of love and splashes!

Hugo thrives with structure, enrichment, and consistency. He needs outlets for his high energy and a family willing to teach him good house manners.

Hugo is a healthy 3-year-old Labrador. All necessary vetting is included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Hugo is eager to learn when given direction. He needs consistent training and positive reinforcement to become a well-mannered house dog.

Transporation

Hugo is currently located in Angleton, TX. We offer custom transports to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, TN & KY, IL, IN, WA, & OH. Transportation fees range from $150-$500, while pick-up at our Angleton, TX location is $75. All fees include vetting, micro-chipping, and a collar. Transport includes climate-controlled buses with attendants and a private Facebook event page for you to follow along on your pet's journey.
