Meet Harvey, our very handsome and sleek boy! Harvey is approximately 1.5 years old and came to us after being abandoned. A kind resident provided temporary shelter, but his original owners never returned. Now, Harvey is eagerly searching for his loving forever family! He's a young dog who adores a good head and butt scratch. Harvey is warming up and becoming more affectionate, and he picks up routines remarkably fast. He's quite playful, with a special fondness for Kong-shaped toys, and he'll happily play fetch until he's happily tired. Harvey is a smart pup who listens well, especially when treats or toys are involved. He does exhibit some dominant energy, so he'll need a confident owner dedicated to working on basic training with him. Harvey made a great impression at the vet's office and charmed everyone there. He's generally good with other dogs, but we believe he'd prefer to be the dominant dog in his new home. He can be placed in a home with older children, 15 years and up.

- You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID.
- If you rent or own a condo, landlord or housing association permission is required for pets, including specific permission for bully breeds if applicable.
- Proof of home ownership is required if you own your home.
- If there are other pets in the home, they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations.
- A dog interaction at the shelter is required for homes with another dog to ensure the safety of all pets.
- All children in the home must meet Harvey before adoption.
- Applications must be submitted and approved before a meet and greet can be scheduled.
- An approved application does not guarantee an adoption.
- We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
