Max Elliot is a charming 13-year-old Schnauzer mix weighing 28 pounds who is ready for a fresh start. After being saved from the euthanasia list in Houston, Max has embraced his second chance and is looking forward to finding a family of his very own. From the moment he arrived at Camo Rescue, Max made it clear that making friends is one of his favorite hobbies. This sweet senior hasn't met a stranger and happily soaks up attention from everyone he meets. Max absolutely melts for pets and would be perfectly content spending his days curled up on the couch or snuggled in bed, simply enjoying time with his people. Whether you're an adult looking for a loyal companion or a family with children eager to experience the special love that only a senior dog can offer, Max Elliot is ready to fit right in. Max is doing wonderfully with his potty training and leash walking and is expected to master both with the consistency of a home environment.

• For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
