Meet Franklin! He's a sweet, gentle soul estimated to be around 13 years young. With his calm demeanor, loving personality, and impeccable manners, Franklin quickly becomes everyone's best friend. He's smart, affectionate, and gets along wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and even cats. Franklin is happiest simply being by your side, making him the loyal companion you've been looking for, whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure.

Franklin's Story: Franklin was found on a remote mountain road in Puerto Rico, unable to keep water down. After being given little chance of survival, his foster sought a second opinion, and Franklin was diagnosed with parasites, worms, and esophagitis. Today, he's parasite-free, fully vaccinated, and thriving! He remains on medication and a special wet food diet for his esophagitis and is doing wonderfully. Franklin has overcome so much and is ready to find the loving forever family he deserves.

Transporation

Franklin is currently being fostered in Virginia Beach, VA. Local adoptions are preferred, but transport can be arranged for the right home. He is still gaining weight, and we do not want to put his body under stress traveling.
