Gustav is a 3½-year-old terrier/Lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. He’s very dog-friendly and thrives in playgroups, where he loves to romp around with his canine pals. His favorite game is pretending to play fetch—he’s all about the chase, even if the “bringing the ball back” part still hasn’t clicked. Gustav is a goofy, chunky boy who adores snacks (maybe a little too much). Interactive toys are his jam… at least until he gets too hangry—then all brain power disappears, and he’ll let you know with dramatic whining and cries of disapproval.

Training & Support
Gustav is still learning the finer points of fetch, as he's more enthusiastic about the chase than returning the ball. He can become very vocal and dramatic when hungry, so understanding his cues and providing him with interactive toys and treats will be helpful. He will require continued training efforts and understanding from his adoptive family.

Transportation
Gustav is currently in Angleton, Texas. He is available for transportation to predetermined locations in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request and require financial responsibility from the adoptive family. For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
