River

Meet River! This handsome 3-year-old blonde Ridgeback Lab mix was born on February 6, 2022, at Clayton County Humane Society. River is a sweet boy who has been fully vetted, including microchipping, neutering, all vaccinations, rabies, heartworm testing, preventative flea and heartworm medication, and deworming.

River and his brother Jasper, who is also available, were returned to the shelter after their previous family experienced a lifestyle change. At three years old, River has spent a significant amount of time in shelter life and truly deserves a chance to blossom in a loving home. He's an active dog who would thrive with an owner who enjoys spending time outdoors. A big backyard would be a dream come true for him to run and play! River can be a bit timid and shy, especially around children, and may bark due to his shyness. He would do well as an only dog and needs patience and quality one-on-one time to build trust and reveal his wonderful personality. River loves treats and always greets his friends with a wagging tail and a great disposition.
