Stallone is a handsome 2-year-old Husky/Heeler mix who has overcome a lot and is now looking for his forever home. He was rescued from a shelter just hours before euthanasia and has since thrived in foster care. Stallone is intelligent, active, and forms deep bonds with his people. He enjoys long walks, brushing, belly rubs, and relaxing with his loved ones. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when by your side. Stallone has shown remarkable progress and can be successfully introduced to new people with slow, thoughtful introductions.

Ideal Home

Stallone is looking for an experienced home that understands the importance of routine, leadership, and allowing dogs time to decompress and build trust. He would do best in a home without young children and with a quieter lifestyle where he can continue to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Stallone is neutered, fully vetted, and has completed heartworm treatment. He is currently healthy.

Training & Support

Stallone has struggled with resource guarding and protectiveness in the past, but with time, structure, and guidance, he has made significant progress. He needs an adopter who can continue to provide consistent leadership and a routine to help him feel secure.
