King is a spirited, affectionate dog who truly beat the odds. Rescued from a high-kill shelter in California, this handsome six-year-old hasn’t let his past slow him down. With the striking look of a Doberman and the loyal nature of a Shepherd mix, King is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside.

Despite his age, King has a youthful spark—full of energy, enthusiasm, and love for life. His favorite moments are those spent soaking up attention from his humans, and he’s always eager to show his charm (especially if treats are involved!).

King gets along with other dogs, but he does best with slow, thoughtful introductions so he can feel safe and build trust.
