Meet Bean and Jack, a delightful bonded pair of 11-month-old Chiweenie boys ready to fill your life with boundless love and laughter! These little guys may be small in stature, but their hearts are enormous, easily six times bigger than their tiny bodies.
Bean, the bigger of the two brothers, is easily identified by his handsome white markings and soulful, expressive eyes. Jack, his smaller companion, sports a perpetually cool, built-in mohawk that adds to his unique charm.
These two are the ultimate shadow team, desperate for attention and eager to be by your side at all times – yes, even when you're in the bathroom! If you work from home, prepare for your lap or office chair to become their designated workstation. They are the epitome of "Velcro cuddle bugs," always seeking closeness and affection.
Bean and Jack possess fearless and protective personalities; they clearly haven't realized they only weigh a few pounds! They take their roles as tiny bodyguards very seriously. While they are crate-trained and will sleep in their crates, their ultimate preference is to be snuggled under the covers right next to you. They do well with children, but given their small size, homes with dog-savvy kids would be ideal. They are still learning the ropes around snack time, so a little guidance will be helpful.
Ideal Home
A securely fenced yard is a must for these energetic boys, allowing them to safely enjoy their zoomies and fearless play. They currently coexist peacefully with two cats, but have shown some reactivity towards a third, more reclusive cat. Therefore, they would do best in a home with very dog-savvy cats or no cats at all. While they tolerate other dogs, they are most bonded to each other and will require slow, patient introductions to new canine companions. Due to their protective nature, they may get a little snappy if another dog invades their personal space too quickly. With appropriate boundaries and decompression time, this behavior is expected to improve.
Ongoing Health
Bean and Jack are up-to-date on all vetting, which includes neuter surgeries, vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
Training & Support
These boys are very eager to please and will thrive with continued positive reinforcement. Guidance around snack time rules and managing their protective instincts around new dogs will be beneficial for their long-term success.
