Bowie

Bowie is a big sweetheart who was adopted as a puppy but returned to us recently due to health reasons. He was born in February 2021 and is about 2 years old. Bowie started experiencing seizures, and his previous adopter was unable to manage them. We've spent the last few months developing a medication plan that effectively controls his seizures and allows him to live a happy, good-quality life. Bowie is a bit independent and doesn't require constant snuggles, but he's more than happy to just hang out with his favorite people. He enjoys napping in the grass, going for car rides, neighborhood walks, and curling up with you for a Netflix binge. And, he absolutely loves an occasional bite of pizza!

Ideal Home

Bowie needs a special home that is prepared to continue his medication and veterinary care. A loving family that can help him manage his seizures if they occur would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Bowie has epilepsy and is on a daily medication to control his seizures. This medication protocol has been successful in allowing him to live a good quality of life.

Training & Support

Bowie is house-trained and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and cats in his foster home.
