Ruby

Ruby is an approximately 8-month-old Belgian Malinois mix with lots of potential and a whole life ahead of her. This pretty girl can be timid at first and seems to have had limited socialization, so the world can still feel a little overwhelming to her sometimes. Ruby is currently learning how to trust people and how to appropriately interact with other dogs. With patience, consistency, and gentle guidance, she continues to make progress and show more of her personality every day. She especially enjoys playing with toys, which is a great way to help build her confidence and bond with her people. Beneath her shy exterior is a sweet young dog just waiting for someone to help her feel safe and loved.

Ideal Home

Ruby would do best in a home with respectful older children who understand that she will need space and time to adjust in the beginning. With the right match, Ruby may also do well living with another dog who can help show her the ropes.

Ongoing Health

House training is unknown, as most of our dogs arrive as strays, so we cannot guarantee they are house trained.

Training & Support

Ruby is looking for a patient owner willing to invest time into helping her grow into the confident dog she is capable of becoming. She is learning how to trust people and how to appropriately interact with other dogs, and her enjoyment of toys is a great way to build her confidence and bond with her people.
