Meeka - Resilient Ball Player!

Meeka is a gorgeous, petite German Shepherd girl with incredibly soft fur and beautiful brown eyes. She's about 5-6 years old and has so much love and companionship left to give!

Meeka came to us when her previous family no longer had time for her. She can be a bit anxious when experiencing change, which sometimes manifests as spinning and barking. However, this is easily and quickly remedied by tossing a ball or giving her a favorite stuffed toy. Most of the time, Meeka is an exceptionally calm dog with low to medium energy, but her absolute favorite thing in the world is a good game of fetch! She recently had a blast playing soccer with some local high school volunteers, proving she's up for all sorts of fun!

Meeka is sweet, friendly, and incredibly loyal. She loves to stay close to her people and is a wonderful cuddle companion on the couch. She is exceptionally gentle, even taking treats from your fingers with the softest touch. Meeka is also non-reactive and wonderful with all other dogs. She walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. We haven't tested her with cats, but she doesn't seem to have a strong prey drive, so she might do well with them with some guidance.

Ideal Home

Meeka would thrive in a home where she can be a beloved companion. She is house-trained and does not require a crate.

Ongoing Health

Meeka is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Meeka can become anxious and exhibit circling and barking. This is easily managed by redirecting her with a toy or game of fetch. She enjoys being pampered and groomed.

Transporation

Meeka is currently being fostered in Houston, TX. We offer transport services, which are an additional $260. Transport is available through AJC Rescue & Transport, with vans traveling from our ranch in Fulshear, TX, to locations near you once a month. You will be included in a group chat for real-time updates on her journey.
