Oliver

My name is Oliver, and I'm a charming 8-year-old boy weighing 26 lbs. I was found all alone in the woods, and it seems I had quite an ordeal. My back right leg was injured, and after assessment, it was determined it needed to be amputated. But don't you worry, I've adjusted wonderfully and am a happy, healthy tripod! I love people and am incredibly loyal; I tend to follow my favorite humans around like a shadow. Despite not being a puppy and being a tripod, I dream of finding a loving home with a family willing to open their hearts to a deserving boy. I'm hoping for a warm bed, plenty of snuggles, and maybe even some of those mysterious things called "treats"!

Ideal Home

A home where I can be the only pet or with a dog who is comfortable with me being in charge would be ideal. I can be a little food possessive, which is understandable given my past.

Ongoing Health

My back right leg has been amputated. I am recovering well and am otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

I can be a bit dominant and may exhibit food possessiveness due to my past experiences. With patience and consistent guidance, I'm sure I'll continue to learn and thrive.

Transporation

I am currently in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Once adopted, I can be flown to my forever home in Canada or the United States with a volunteer flight angel to the nearest airport.
