Sandy thrives in a home with at least one other dog, as they help build her confidence. A secure, fenced yard is a must for her to safely explore and settle in. Due to her skittishness around sudden movements, she would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space she needs to feel secure.

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained, with no accidents in foster care. She walks beautifully on a leash, remaining non-reactive to distractions. She enjoys short car rides. While not treat-motivated, she can't resist Colby Jack cheese. She is quiet and rarely barks. She loves affection on her own terms, enjoying chin scratches, head rubs, and chest massages. Her new family should be patient and provide a stable, supportive environment to help her continue building confidence.
