Meet Shiva! This sweet girl is an American Bulldog/Pit Mix, born on September 28, 2022, and weighs around 40lbs. Shiva is a smart and active lady who absolutely loves attention and companionship. She has a unique way of asking for pets – by slowly walking under curtains for an impromptu back rub! If you don't have curtains, be prepared to provide plenty of scratches and attention. Shiva is also great with kids and has prior experience with chickens and even had a potbelly pig best friend. She's a fast learner and knows commands like sit, shake, and down. If you're looking for a running buddy who enjoys hikes and bike rides, Shiva would be thrilled!

Ideal Home

Shiva would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of human interaction and companionship. She enjoys the company of other dogs but would benefit from continued socialization. Shiva is not suited for apartment living due to her tendency to "sing" or howl when left alone for too long, unless you have very understanding neighbors.

Ongoing Health

Shiva is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shiva is potty and crate trained, though she strongly dislikes being in a crate. She needs ongoing socialization with humans and dogs to build her confidence. She's an intelligent dog who enjoys learning and would benefit from an active owner who can provide mental and physical stimulation.

Transportation
