Honey

Meet Honey! This sweet, loyal girl is full of quiet love and her name truly suits her. Honey was found abandoned on the side of the highway, but thankfully she was rescued and is now healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and ready for a fresh start in a loving home. She's a 3-year-old, 19kg Lab/Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. Honey is mid-energy, very smart, and incredibly eager to please her people. She's protective of her home and absolutely adores car rides!

Ideal Home

Honey is looking for a home where she can truly shine. She does best with non-dominant dogs and would prefer a home without cats. She would also do best in a home with children aged 10 and older.

Ongoing Health

Honey is healthy and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She has also been spayed.

Training & Support

Honey is a clean and food-motivated girl who tries her hardest to make her person happy! She could use a little practice with leash walking, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, she'll be a pro in no time.

• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

Transporation

Honey is located in Bucerias, Mexico. We can arrange transport to the US and Canada. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. Our rescue has successfully completed many adoptions during the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
