MANGCHI

MANGCHI is a 4-year-old boy who was rescued from a city shelter in South Korea and is now looking for his furever home! MANGCHI has a beautiful, fluffy coat, so he will need to go to a home without allergy concerns. He generally does well with people, sometimes friendly, sometimes indifferent. He might be a little shy at first, but he adapts well within a few hours. MANGCHI has no signs of aggression or significant behavioral concerns, and he does not display excessive barking or separation anxiety.

Ideal Home

MANGCHI would do best in a calm environment. While he has lived with a small dog and shown neutrality or mild interest towards other dogs, he has not met cats. He may be sensitive to sudden movements or loud voices, so a home without young children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

MANGCHI is neutered and vaccinated. He has no known ongoing health conditions or special needs.

Training & Support

MANGCHI is housetrained for both indoor and outdoor potty use, though he prefers to go during walks. He tends to pull on the leash during walks, and his foster family has been working with him on loose-leash walking. Continued training in his new home will be beneficial. For safety, the use of a double leash system is recommended, as MANGCHI can be easily startled during walks and may try to run if frightened.
