Lilo (Feldspar)

Meet Lilo! This approximately 1.5-year-old Cattle Dog, Pharaoh Hound, and Pitty mix had a tough start in life. She was abandoned and returned to us very emaciated. Lilo needed time to recover physically and mentally from her past trauma, and while she's been with us for a while, please don't let that deter you! She's still the sweet, silly girl we know and love. Lilo has completed a 4-week Board & Train program, building a strong foundation in obedience, crate and potty training, and leash walking. She's a very food-motivated and eager-to-please pup, making training a joy. She thrives on consistency and loves having a job to do, so an active adopter who will continue her training is her dream come true.

Ideal Home

Lilo would do well as the only dog or with another dog after a slow introduction; she does well with kids. However, she is NOT good with cats.

Ongoing Health

Lilo was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), a chronic condition requiring lifelong management. She must remain on a strict Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein diet to keep her digestive system calm. During flare-ups, she may need probiotics and immune support supplements.

Training & Support

Lilo is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She is eager to please and food-motivated, making her receptive to further training. An adopter committed to maintaining her routine and diet is key to her continued success.
