Like the classic drink he’s named after, Daquiri is a sweet and comforting companion, ready to bring warmth to your life. At 4 ½ years old, this gentle boy is a true cuddle bug, happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. Daquiri used to be the life of the party, a social butterfly who loved making friends. But after a tough experience with a larger dog, his confidence was shaken, and he’s been feeling shy and unsure around other pups ever since. Now, he’s searching for a patient and loving family—or a dedicated person—who will help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. With the right home, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was. He just needs someone to believe in him. Could that be you?

Ideal Home

Daquiri would do best in a home that can help him regain his confidence. He is currently unsure around other dogs.

Ongoing Health

All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention, and micro-chipping, is up to date.

Training & Support

Daquiri needs a patient family to help him build confidence, especially around other dogs. Continued training and understanding will help him become the best dog he can be.

Transporation

Daquiri is currently located in Angleton, TX. He can be transported to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport is available via a comfortable, air-conditioned bus with dedicated care for the animals.
