Joey Jolly is a delightful Corgi mix, approximately 2 years old, weighing in at 46 lbs. He's a "short king" with adorable Corgi ears, little legs, a lab-like body, and a happy smile that's sure to melt your heart. His most striking feature is his unique eyes: one is a solid caramel brown, while the other is a captivating blend of caramel brown and icy blue. Joey is an incredibly happy, joyful, and affectionate dog who thrives on attention and loves to be by your side. He has experience with children and does great with them. He's also dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, though he doesn't require a canine companion to feel secure. Joey is also cat-friendly and has shown respect towards felines. He has a well-balanced personality, being silly, adventurous, and cuddly all at once. He enjoys toys, entertains himself, and is happy with both adventures and quiet time.
Ideal Home
Joey would be a wonderful fit for a semi-active family or someone who works from home. He can thrive in an apartment with proper exercise and socialization or a home with a backyard.
Ongoing Health
Joey Jolly is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccines with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Joey is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash, though he can pull with excitement. He knows how to sit (sometimes) and is eager to please. Further refinement of leash skills is always beneficial.

Transporation
Joey is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
